Head to [Appearance → Editor](https://wordpress.com/site-editor/coachingtowardjoy.wordpress.com) and click on **Styles** in the left menu, then select **Colors** to choose a color palette for your whole site. Want me to walk you through the next step?
Since coachingtowardjoy is on the Free plan, the Appearance menu may be limited. Try going directly to the [Appearance → Editor](https://wordpress.com/site-editor/coachingtowardjoy.wordpress.com) via this link — does that open for you?
Click on the text block you want to change, then in the right-hand settings sidebar find the **Color** section and click **Text** to pick your color. Want me to walk you through finding the sidebar?
In the editor, look for the panel on the right side of the screen — if you don’t see it, click the **Settings** icon (it looks like a square with two uneven columns) in the top-right toolbar to open it. Ready for the next step?
Click the **Block** tab at the top of that sidebar, then scroll down to find the **Color** section where you’ll see the **Text** option to pick your color. Did that work for you?
At the top of the right sidebar, you’ll see two tabs — **Block** and **Page** (or **Post**) — just click the one that says **Block**. Can you see those two tabs?
Make sure you’ve clicked directly on the text block in the content area first — the sidebar should then automatically switch to show the **Block** tab at the top. Does clicking on the text block change anything in the sidebar?
It’s possible the sidebar is showing something else. Can you tell me what you see at the top of the right sidebar — any tabs, icons, or text visible there?
Those are the top toolbar icons — the sidebar itself is separate. Look for a vertical panel on the **far right edge** of your screen; if it’s not visible, try clicking the icon that looks like a **square split into two uneven columns** (usually the 2nd or 3rd icon from the right in that group of 8). Does that open a panel on the right side?
Now click directly on the text block you want to change, then scroll down in that right sidebar until you see the **Color** section — can you see it?
